POSITION SUMMARY
Architectural Project Managers oversee and manage teams producing and coordinating all aspects of two to five projects. They work on the design and production of the most complex Impact Housing projects and are responsible for these project's architectural management, design, detailing, production, coordination of allied disciplines, and QA/QC from the conceptual design phase through construction administration. They coordinate project production with IH development and construction management and represent the lead architectural viewpoint on projects. They also provide oversight of, and overall architectural guidance to, less experienced project managers and all architectural staff and may act in a team leader capacity in the absence of iDnA leadership. IH's design leadership team supports and mentors their professional development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Oversee and coordinate design activities across leadership, design, consultants, development, and construction teams.
- Manage project schedules and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
- Lead QA/QC processes to maintain design and construction standards.
- Drive 2 to 5 multifamily and/or mixed-use factory-built projects from concept design through construction administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of experience in multi-family residential architecture or similar using Revit or equal, as well as other software utilized for the architectural design of projects.
- Architectural Experience:
- Understanding of multi-family residential design or equal as evidenced by work on previous projects.
- Leadership Experience:
- Experience leading an architectural team as evidenced by the quality of teamwork on previous projects.
- Communication:
- Communicator of design concepts, work, tasks, and schedules in both written and visual formats.
- Collaboration:
- Works well jointly and cooperatively with others to develop ideas and work and open to input from others.
- Self-Starter:
- Able to manage and document work and schedule towards completion of tasks and projects.
- Motivator:
- Experience managing and supporting individuals and/or teams towards project success.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
- Architectural License or interest in working towards licensure

All prospective Impact Housing employees must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the US.

- Salary of $115k-$135K based on experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting, some standing and working in various environmental conditions.
- Ability to travel as needed as need to other work locations.
