Full Job Description
The Role

The Architectural Designer IV is responsible for leading design efforts, overseeing the preparation of construction documents, and mentoring junior staff. This role involves managing design projects from concept to completion, with an emphasis on technical accuracy, client satisfaction, and coordination with consultants.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of design concepts, working closely with clients and internal teams to translate client needs into innovative architectural solutions.
  • Prepare detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
  • Oversee the coordination of building systems (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical) with consultants, ensuring seamless integration into the architectural design.
  • Review design drawings, specifications, and other project documentation for accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior designers, providing guidance on design, technical issues, and professional development.
  • Manage project schedules and resources, ensuring that design milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants during the construction phase to address design-related challenges and ensure adherence to design intent.
  • Participate in client presentations and meetings, effectively communicating design concepts and project updates.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues including cross-functional teams, peers, direct reports, and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in taking on new responsibilities and adjusting to evolving challenges.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in architecture.
  • Strong background in Revit & AutoCAD

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Pursuit of architectural licensure.
  • Experience with large or complex projects
