Position Summary:
As an Architectural Designer II on our production team, you will play an important role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed, coordinated construction documents. You will support multidisciplinary project teams throughout the design and documentation process, helping ensure accuracy, code compliance, constructability, and consistency across project deliverables.

This position combines creative design sensibility with technical proficiency and is well-suited for an architectural professional who enjoys collaborating across disciplines, developing detailed BIM models and documentation, and contributing to projects from early design through construction documentation.

Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:
  • Produce architectural drawings, building plans, sections, elevations, details, and BIM models throughout various phases of design and construction documentation.
  • Develop interior layouts, schematic designs, presentation graphics, and other project materials based on program requirements, client needs, and established design standards.
  • Perform site measurements and document existing conditions to support accurate design development and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate architectural models and documents with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines, incorporating consultant input and identifying potential design conflicts.
  • Apply applicable building codes, design standards, and regulatory requirements to project documentation and identify potential compliance concerns for review.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate, organized project drawings, models, files, and deliverables in accordance with established office and project standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, consultants, and other stakeholders to support client reviews, design meetings, project charrettes, and successful project delivery.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, meeting established schedules and quality expectations while staying current with evolving architectural practices, materials, and technologies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in architectural design and production.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of architectural design production, drafting, and BIM-based project delivery.
  • Ability to produce accurate and organized architectural drawings and documentation.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

  • Ability to use computers, BIM/CAD software, and other standard office and design-production equipment.
  • Ability to participate in project site visits, including walking through active or existing facilities and conducting field measurements.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment with the opportunity for hybrid work. Project responsibilities may periodically require travel to active construction sites, existing facilities, or other project locations. Site conditions may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, uneven walking surfaces, and other conditions typical of construction and field environments.
