Architect at
Foster + Partners, you will play a leading role in the delivery of world-class architectural projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams from concept through to completion. You will combine design leadership, project management and team development to help create innovative architecture, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and on budget.
This role is ideal if you want to:- Lead, manage, motivate and coordinate internal project teams on complex and high-profile architectural projects.
- Take ownership of the design process, overseeing and coordinating all project activities from concept through to delivery.
- Deliver world-class architecture while balancing design excellence, programme requirements and project budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants and external project partners to drive successful project outcomes.
- Continue developing your professional expertise through ongoing learning, CPD and career development within a world-leading architectural practice.
What you will bring to the team:- Significant professional architectural experience, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects.
- The ability to use initiative and sound judgement to respond to the evolving demands of projects.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and build relationships across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Proven experience coordinating and integrating the work of internal and external design team members to achieve successful project outcomes.
- A strong understanding of the architect's role, including current legislation, project coordination and design management principles.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of delivering projects on time, within budget and in line with client objectives.
- The ability to effectively manage large volumes of project information and data, combined with advanced Revit proficiency and confidence working in a BIM-led environment.
