Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience as a Life Science Laboratory Planner / Architect.
• Registered architect in the U.S. or Canada, or a clear plan to obtain registration within two years.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for proposals and reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a broad knowledge of architectural principles.
• Experience facilitating and supporting design charrettes.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Handle key design decisions regarding spatial, aesthetic, and material elements.
• Manage projects, including cost control and adherence to schedules.
• Mentor junior architects and designers, delegating tasks as needed.
• Conduct building code reviews and write reports like feasibility studies.
• Ensure coordination of design efforts internally and externally with clients.
• Attend client meetings to gather requirements and validate scopes of work.
