This role defines the target-state architecture across product and pricing, Salesforce CPQ, order-to-fulfillment, billing systems, NetSuite ERP, integration platforms, and AI-enabled services. The architect serves as the strategic and technical authority for end-to-end QTC solution design, translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable architectures. Success is measured by simpler seller experiences, a modernized commercial model, reliable order fulfillment, improved integration maturity, and a credible transformation plan.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Refactor the product, pricing, bundle, and AI monetization architecture to support current offerings, future business models, and AI-enabled monetization patterns including subscription, usage-based, and consumption-based models.
  • Lead the simplification of Quote-to-Cash processes by partnering directly with high-performing sellers, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, and Revenue Operations to eliminate CPQ friction and reduce manual touchpoints across quoting, ordering, billing, and revenue operations.
  • Define and publish the enterprise Quote-to-Cash target architecture spanning Quote-to-Order, Order-to-Fulfillment, Order-to-Bill, and Bill-to-Revenue, including capability map, system boundaries, data ownership model, integration strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
  • Standardize integration and data architecture across the QTC landscape by publishing API, event, batch, middleware, canonical data, and observability standards and driving architecture review coverage for strategic initiatives.
  • Architect the Order-to-Fulfillment workstream, defining orchestration, status, audit, retry, reconciliation, and exception-management patterns across CPQ, order management, NetSuite, billing, and fulfillment systems.
  • Enable agentic AI innovation in Quote-to-Cash by identifying high-value copilot and agent use cases, defining AI architecture principles, human-in-the-loop patterns, security controls, and observability standards, and launching measurable AI-enabled pilots.
  • Strengthen architecture governance and quality through a QTC architecture review process, decision-record standard, and executive-ready diagrams, process flows, roadmaps, and decision records for all major QTC initiatives.
  • Deliver the Quote-to-Cash transformation strategy, including assessment of current CPQ capabilities and technical debt, evaluation of platform options such as Salesforce Revenue Cloud with Agentforce-enabled capabilities, and a phased migration plan with sequencing, risks, investment, and expected business value.
  • Evaluate new requests and deliverables considering scalability, reliability, and performance of systems and contexts affected for a complete end-to-end solution design and architecture.
