Full Job Description
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Enterprise Architect to lead the design and development of JAGGAER's next-generation AI & Agentic AI platform along with .

This is a strategic and deeply technical leadership role that sits under the central architecture group in CPTO organization. You will report to the Chief Architect/ Head of Architecture group and work closely with cross-functional product, engineering, and data science teams to build the technology strategy and direction along with contributing to enhance our core product suite stack and an AI platform that integrates LLMs, multi-agent systems, MLOps, and enterprise-grade applications.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience spanning backend engineering, frontend development, databases, and modern AI technologies-and is ready to shape the architectural backbone of an intelligent, agentic enterprise platform

Principal Responsibilities

What you'll do:
• Architect the next-gen AI/Agentic platform that powers autonomous procurement and supply chain workflows across global enterprises.
• Design and lead the end-to-end architecture across backend systems, frontend frameworks, databases, and AI pipelines.
• Build a modular platform architecture capable of integrating open-source and commercial LLMs, SLMs, and agentic frameworks like LangGraph, Langchain CrewAI, AutoGen, or Haystack.
• Collaborate closely with MLOps, data engineering, and ML science teams to define infrastructure for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning, vector search, and embedding orchestration.
• Partner with product and UX teams to deliver AI-native user experiences with real business impact.
• Evaluate and recommend platform stack choices for real-time orchestration of autonomous agents, knowledge graphs, and enterprise workflows.
• Help modernizing the current core product stacks to scale and used by AI Agents in autonomous mode
• Mentor a team of senior engineers and act as a thought leader across the broader tech organization.
• Champion secure, scalable, cloud-native design patterns across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in a matrixed global organization, influence without authority and lead with empathy.

Position Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Must-Haves:
• 15+ years of hands-on software architecture and engineering experience across full-stack systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go), API architecture, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Solid grounding in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and modern UI/UX patterns.
• Proven experience deploying and scaling LLMs, SLMs, and agentic AI frameworks in production environments.
• Strong foundation in MLOps, including CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, retraining pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Deep knowledge of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, QDrant, Milvus), hybrid search, and embedding orchestration.
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade security, privacy, and compliance requirements in AI platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership in matrixed organizations with strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to inspire, align, and drive results.
• Proven success building platforms used by thousands of users or multiple internal product teams.

Preferred:
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or ERP systems.
• Contributions to open-source AI or MLOps projects.
• Experience integrating with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or ServiceNow.
