You Are

A detail-oriented and proactive Application Support Engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. You act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues across multiple components of critical business systems.

You are comfortable taking ownership of complex situations, guiding team decisions, and engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and continuous improvement. You bring deep expertise in OneStream and a solid foundation in troubleshooting, remediation, and engineering support

The Work

You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing critical business applications by diagnosing issues, driving resolutions, and improving overall system performance.

Working closely with multiple teams, you will contribute to decision-making, optimize support processes, and ensure high-quality service delivery across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a software detective to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across multiple application components.
  • Provide expert-level support for OneStream (SmartCPM and Financial Data Quality), ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Take ownership of team decisions and contribute to key discussions impacting application support strategy.
  • Lead and guide team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and providing technical support.
  • Analyze recurring issues and propose improvements to enhance system stability and support efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, tools, and service delivery models.
  • Engage with stakeholders to improve workflows and optimize system performance.
  • This role is located in one of the following locations (Montreal or Mississauga) and will require on-site 3 days per week.

  • Bachelor's degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
  • Expert proficiency in OneStream SmartCPM.
  • Advanced proficiency in OneStream Financial Data Quality.
  • Strong experience in application remediation, IT troubleshooting, and engineering support.
  • Ability to diagnose complex software issues and deliver timely, effective resolutions.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across multiple teams.
  • Experience in supporting critical business systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify patterns and recommend solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes
