Full Job Description
Akumen Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-motivated Application Support Engineer with experience in application maintenance support. Your expertise will facilitate the execution of vital federal government functions by ensuring the application is successfully deployed and operational for current and future staff. You will bring your Application Support Engineering experience to lead efforts to support a federal agency so that continuous operations can happen with minimal to no technological interruptions. Your ability to prepare and deploy applications and take corrective action immediately will be vital to the mission of our team.

Responsibilities:

The Application Support Engineer will be a team-oriented, self-directed, and reliable technical professional with experience in providing in-depth knowledge of the supported applications in order to provide a full range of services required to perform root cause analysis, data repair operations, methodology execution, and application service restoration. This is Level 3 Support and will possess the senior-level technical and application expertise required for debugging application code.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Federal government clients.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on automated test coding experience in creating functions, methods, and programs.
  • Experience working closely with other automation developers to build/support Automation Framework.
  • Skilled in automation result analysis and generating automation result reports.
  • Key technology experience in areas such as ServiceNow, .Net applications, Microsoft O365 suite of cloud-based applications including Delve, Dynamics 365, Office 365 Groups and Video, Multi-Factor Authentication, Off-Premises Access, OneDrive, OneNote Online, Power BI, Project Server Online, and SharePoint Online. Microsoft Teams and Flow. SQL Server, IIS Manager.
  • For SQL Server software on servers, install, back up, restore, migrate, configure, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Write T-SQL queries to fix data problems.
  • Ensure that the application passed the annual Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP) and confirmed to Information Assurance (IA) requirements. The configuration.
