Application Engineer | Water & Wastewater SystemsWhat You'll Be Doing- Partner with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and develop engineered water and wastewater treatment solutions.
- Perform process engineering calculations to design customized treatment systems.
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and process data.
- Size and select equipment for proposed treatment systems.
- Work with inside and outside sales team to estimate costs and provide technical proposal support.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and manufacturable.
- Deliver timely, accurate technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Partner with the R&D team to support continuous improvement and next-generation treatment technologies.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of engineering experience supporting water, wastewater, environmental, or industrial process systems.
- Experience developing engineered solutions for municipal and/or industrial customers.
- Experience performing process calculations and equipment selection.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Outstanding work ethic with a high standard for quality and accuracy.
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and customer focus.
- Applications Engineering or technical sales support experience is preferred.
Location This position is based onsite in Centennial, Colorado but remote opportunities exist for highly qualified candidates.
Travel: Approximately 10-15%.
