Description

The Applications Engineer is responsible for acting as a liaison between the Sales & Marketing and the Engineering departments to ensure technical accuracy in all commercial matters. The Applications Engineer must also ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by ensuring internal channels have a correct understanding of customer needs.

Essential Functions
• Daily On-Site Attendance.
• Works with the Sales & Marketing department to ensure quoted products meet customer application.
• Acts as a liaison between the Sales & Marketing and Engineering departments in the creation of transformer designs during the quoting process.
• Maintains and updates the Pricing Configurator tool.
• Collaborates with the Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain Management departments to ensure that pricing structures are appropriate.
• Collaborates with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Operations, and Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist to develop technical marketing material.
• Develops technical presentation content for meetings with customers and Sales Representatives.
• Conducts customer product awareness training seminars.
• Participates in industry events, including conferences and trade shows, to network and promote the Company's products.
• Attends daily and weekly internal Sales Meetings.
