We are seeking a An Application Developer II to join our team!

WHAT You'll DO:

Under limited supervision, the Application Developer II will collaborate with appropriate team leaders and other end users to define, design, implement, and successfully deliver high quality, custom applications to organizational teams, including a variety of assigned internal software systems.

The Applications Developer II is responsible for providing a high level of quality assurance, testing, project lifecycle and deployment management, and basic system and database administration.

Participate in and/or lead the development, enhancement, and support of assigned inhouse software applications, data pipelines, and/or enhancements to existing third party applications systems including:

  • Manage project lifecycle, deployment, and release for product launches.


  • Design and implement applications for assigned business workflows.


  • Architect new and redesign/modernize existing applications.


  • Build and implement data pipelines and manage databases to support business applications.


  • Assignments might include support for some of the more complex and/or challenging processes.


  • Will provide mentoring for less experienced applications staff members as well as participate in staff member development.


  • Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary.


WHAT You'll NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer-related field such as computer science or software engineering, or equivalent related experience.


  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in developing and maintaining production business applications.


  • Experience with the following technologies:


  • 3-Tier application architecture and development


  • ETL process design and management


  • Required:


  • C# and/or VB.NET


  • T-SQL/MSSQL and/or MySQL


  • Git


  • Dapper


  • Preferred:


  • WinForms


  • Python


  • Blazor web development framework


  • CentOS


  • GitLab DevOps CI/CD, deployments and shell scripting

  • Willingness and ability to learn applicable business practices, processes, and working concepts.

  • Exposure to applicable financial/lending applications and/or software is preferred.

Compensation:

Competitive nonprofit compensation, based on experience, plus a generous benefits package. Compensation ranges for each position are based on local market rates and will be determined by geography, role, and experience.
