Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Applications Developer who can hit the ground running with minimal spin up time. Mobile app development with Android is a must have.
Required Skills- Demonstrated experience with strong knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services
- Demonstrated ability to develop Android/iOS mobile applications using React including proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Nodejs, and Javascript
- Demonstrated experience developing Windows and Linux application releases using the Electron framework
- Demonstrated experience working with small teams to manage software development activities
- Demonstrated experience working with customers to define functional requirements, concept of operations, and UI/UX design
- Demonstrated experience managing iterative software development releases
- Demonstrated experience tracking development sprints using JIRA
- Demonstrated experience managing source code in Github and Gitlab
- Demonstrated experience developing test plans
- Demonstrated experience providing technical support and training to a broad client base
- Demonstrated experience understanding emerging technical trends
- Demonstrated experience in software engineering and development
- Demonstrated experience supporting technical operations
Desired Skills- Demonstrated experience with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated experience documenting process and procedures
- Demonstrated experience with tool idea conceptualization and requirements design
- Demonstrated experience working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms
- Advanced degree in Software Engineering or similar
