Salary Range

 

The salary range for this position is $77,900/yr - $153,000/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location

 

The Application Analyst IIIis responsible forworking withtheMortgagelinesof businesstoassistthem in achieving their businessobjectivesthrough the effective development and support of business applications.

Key responsibilities include managingthe Black Knight mortgage application and avariety ofin-house applicationssupportingMortgage Servicing.Position willbe responsible forwriting specs for new application needs, implementing applications, and supporting and testing existing applications for various issues and updates.The Application Analyst IIIworks independently with minimal guidance to contribute to the design, configuration, build, and daily support of these solutions and actively engage with business partners to solve business problems.A strong passion to continuously improvethe userexperience and enterprise efficiency isrequired, as this role will work to turn ideas intodeliverableand valuable business solutions.

KeyAccountabilities

Key Accountability 1:Support and Manage Current Applications

  • Develop in-depthconceptual and practical knowledge ofappropriate softwareapplications used and supported by theMortgageline of business. Continually build product knowledge of existing product features and product requirements.
  • Manage, coordinate, and provide consultative supportto the day-to-day functioning ofbusiness line clients.
  • Provide superior customer service to external/internal clients, including response to incidents, proactively notifying customers ofissues,assessingand communicating business impact, andidentifyingroot cause.
  • Lead monitoringand testing ofnew releases and systems, as well as changes and fixes to existing systems, to ensure effective implementation.
  • Analyzessystem logic andusesevaluativejudgmentto make recommendations and implement enhancements or fixes.
  • Communicate andaddresscomplex application problems/issues and planned resolution to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, endusersand unit leaders.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical solutions in a manner that is understandable to internal customers and other partners.
  • Must be able to understand, generate, and amend technical documentation in addition to completing formal process documentation.

 

Key Accountability 2:Facilitateenhancements in line with changing business needs

  • Create and foster partnerships with internal stakeholders to develop a solid knowledge base of the business, including needs and opportunities specifically related to application/IT platform solutions.
  • Formulate and define scope andobjectivesfor changes through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business systems and industry standards; documents requirements.
  • Research and review new or upgraded application functionality with business partners to help them prepareappropriate trainingandproceduresupdates.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with vendors and external industry contacts; work closely with vendors to ensure third party applicationsoperateas documented.
  • Provide intermediate to complex analysis, supporting the planning and implementation of systems and upgrades, and process changes.

  • Prepare documentation of changes for internal and external auditors, and other regulatory agencies, as needed.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industrydevelopmentsincluding changes in technology and regulations.
  • Review andmonitoranalytics, statistics, and relevant data/information.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer information systems,or related technical discipline,or equivalent work experience
  • 5 6+ years ofexperiencesupporting mortgage systems, preferably Black Knight,including configurationand/or development of in-house mortgage applications.
  • Strongunderstandingof banking operations, application support practices, and production issue triage.
  • Ability to document requirements,validatedata, coordinate testing, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, urgent issues, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
