The expected pay range for this position is $68,600 to $97,500 per year. The pay is determined by several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity, and other factors relevant to the job.

HPM Building Supply in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Appliance Installation, Service and Warranty Manager.

The typical schedule for this position:
  • Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Occasional Weekends or after hour events as necessary.
  • Also may include out of state training or related events.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Appliance Installation, Service and Warranty Manager includes overseeing appliance operations, troubleshooting and installing repairs, estimating costs, documenting work, managing inventory, training technicians, maintaining product information, implementing quality assurance procedures, assisting clients, collaborating on designs, recommending improvements, and fostering relationships with clients and partners. They oversee all aspects of appliance installation, warranty management, and after-sales service, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality service delivery, and excellent customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • ssist team in incorporating appliance package, Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP)Evaluate and implement internal procedures for quality assurance, risk mitigation, cost. Train support crews and mentor field service technicians in the above.
    • Keep product information current and assist in developing reference resources for staff, Oversee the warehousing, delivery, and installation of all appliances.
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and install warranty repairs and replacements.
    • Estimate costs and make recommendations in the client's best interest.
    • Promptly and accurately document and track any work performed.


KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and construction knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of cabinetry manufacturing, countertop coordination, and interior design.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including effectively using email, internet, and Microsoft Office.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of appliances.
