Job Description:APP - Nurse Practitioner | Physician Assistant - FloatFloat locations: Poughkeepsie, Middletown, Newburgh, Yorktown, & FishkillMonday-Friday 5/8.5 hour shiftsIn this role, you will:- Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in alignment with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.
- Deliver patient-centered care focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
We require:- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
- At least one (1) year of experience in Oncology/Hematology (helpful but not required).
- Strong computer skills; experience with EMR is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to all locations listed.
