AP/CP Pathologist

(Breast & Gynecologic Pathology)

Austin, Texas

Sonic Healthcare USA (SHUSA) is seeking a highly motivated, board-certified or board-eligible Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist (AP/CP) to join our growing, collegial, and collaborative outpatient pathology practice affiliated with Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) in Austin, Texas.

We are looking for a well-rounded pathologist with strong diagnostic skills and a particular interest and expertise in breast pathology, gynecologic pathology, and cytopathology. The successful candidate will join a team committed to delivering exceptional patient care, quality diagnostics, and outstanding customer service to our clinician partners.

Position Highlights
  • Primarily outpatient pathology practice
  • Diverse case mix with significant exposure to:
    • Breast pathology
    • Gynecologic biopsy pathology
    • Gynecologic cytology
    • General surgical pathology
  • Collaborative environment with experienced subspecialty-trained pathologists

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
  • Fellowship training in Cytopathology required
  • Demonstrated expertise in breast pathology and gynecologic pathology
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted Texas medical license
  • Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
