Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern Android development technologies, strong knowledge of mobile architecture, and a passion for creating intuitive, secure, and high-performance applications. You will collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver scalable mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications following Android development best practices.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud services into Android applications.
- Implement modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Repository Pattern.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and security.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across different Android devices and OS versions.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
- Publish, monitor, and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Stay updated with the latest Android SDK features, Jetpack libraries, and mobile development trends.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2-5 years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with Android SDK and Jetpack libraries.
- Solid understanding of Android application lifecycle and UI development.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party library integration.
- Familiarity with SQLite, Room Database, and local data storage.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of Android security best practices and secure coding principles.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Jetpack Compose for modern Android UI development.
- Familiarity with Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, and Dependency Injection (Hilt or Dagger).
- Experience with Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and Crashlytics.
- Knowledge of Retrofit, OkHttp, WorkManager, and Navigation Component.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Published Android applications on the Google Play Store.
