Job Description

Duties: Drive strategic initiatives by integrating diverse data sources and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance business intelligence (BI) dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making and improve operational efficiency. Architect and develop workflows and datasets to optimize data processing for seamless integration with BI reporting tools. Prepare technical specifications and documentation of workflows. Analyze datasets to develop and automate reports or analysis that leads to actionable business insights. Drive end- to-end development of line of business-focused data visualization and dashboards. Summarize, synthesize, and present data findings and recommendations to enable actionable insights for business stakeholders. Query data and merge information from diverse data sources to create robust datasets that enable better decision-making. Provide continued support for HR workforce analytics platform, engaging with business partners to identify evolving needs, define new datasets, and facilitate technical testing and user training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions, Data Visualization, Project Delivery Analyst, IT Consultant, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions, Data Visualization, Project Delivery Analyst, IT Consultant, Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires 4 years of experience with the following: Data management, including data accuracy, integrity, and governance across large-scale enterprise datasets; Designing and developing data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight. This position requires 3 years of experience with the following: Designing scalable data structures to support enterprise analytics and reporting; Developing logical and physical data models, including defining relationships, primary and foreign keys, indexing strategies, and partitioning; Designing fact and dimension tables, implementing surrogate keys, and creating hierarchical data structures for both structured and semi- structured data; Data governance, security, and access control implementation across cloud-based and on-premises environments; ETL process automation and data transformation, including integrating and processing data from other databases using Alteryx; Utilizing cloud-based and relational databases, including AWS Athena and Oracle Database; Data extraction, schema design, and performance optimization using SQL. This position requires any amount to experience with the following: Reducing extract sizes, implementing indexing strategies, leveraging data joins, and minimizing redundant calculations for optimized dashboard performance; Designing scalable automated workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading; Performing data analysis and automation using Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and VBA scripting; Integrating Excel with Tableau, Alteryx, and databases for data connectivity.
