Job Description SummaryPosition Objective:
We are seeking a highly curious and impact-driven
Analytics & Insights Manager to join the Enterprise Analytics team. This role is initially a
hands-on individual contributor focused on delivering high-quality operational reporting and actionable insights, with a clear path to evolve into a leadership role as the team expands.
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Analytics, this individual will play a critical role in
transforming operational data into decisions, with a strong emphasis on fleet and operations performance.
Position Responsibilities:
Hands-On Analytics & Insight Delivery (Primary Focus)- Own the end-to-end development of operational reporting and analysis, with a focus on fleet and operations
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions
- Proactively identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities-and recommend actions
- Move beyond reporting to influence outcomes through data-driven storytelling
Reporting Strategy & Roadmap Ownership- Define and manage the reporting roadmap for operational analytics
- Establish KPIs, metrics, and scalable reporting frameworks
- Prioritize work based on business impact and strategic alignment
- Ensure reporting solutions are intuitive, performant, and adoption-focused
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence- Partner closely with operations, fleet, and cross-functional leaders. Understand how all parts of the business work together to drive strategic goals
- Act as a trusted advisor-guiding stakeholders from questions to decisions
- Drive adoption of analytics through clear communication and enablement
- Shape how the business consumes and acts on data
Data Visualization & Communication- Design and deliver intuitive dashboards using Power BI
- Craft compelling narratives that connect insights to business actions
- Standardize how insights are communicated across the organization
Technical Execution- Leverage Databricks and modern data platforms to build scalable analytics solutions
- Work closely with data engineering to ensure clean, reliable, and accessible data
- Continuously improve data models, reporting performance, and usability
Future Leadership (Growth Path)- Help define team structure, processes, and best practices as the function grows
- Mentor future team members and contribute to building analytics capability
- Transition into a player-coach role as additional resources are added
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Required Experience- 5-8+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or insights-focused roles
- Proven track record of delivering analysis that drove measurable business outcomes
- Experience in operational environments (fleet, logistics, supply chain, or similar preferred)
- Knowledge of other business domains and interaction is also preferred
- Strong ability to take ambiguous problems and turn them into actionable insights
Technical Skills- Hands-on experience with Databricks
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard design)
- Strong SQL and data manipulation skills
- Experience working with large, complex datasets

Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $113,342.00 - 155,845.80
