Job DescriptionNBCUniversal Advertising Products & Solutions (AP&S) is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management to sales operations, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $10B+ annual advertising business. The Business Intelligence team within AP&S leverages data to empower business customers with actionable insights that drive performance and decision-making. We are currently seeking an Analytics Engineer to support the design and implementation of scalable data solutions, empowering stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Strategy with data analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence in this role you will:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of analytical reporting ETL pipelines and related front-end interfaces (e.g., dashboards), leveraging data languages such as SQL and Python, and platforms such as Snowflake and pipeline management tools.
- Contribute to the development and execution of QA and UAT protocols, proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues to ensure solutions perform effectively.
- Support training and ongoing support to data users, enabling them to effectively utilize data solutions and tools.
- Collaborate on the development of advanced analytics prototypes to drive strategic initiatives and business outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to support scalability and knowledge transfer across the organization.
QualificationsQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related fields, including data pipeline development.
- Knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Architecture, ETL, and Data Warehouse methodologies.
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or MicroStrategy.
- Familiarity with data integration tools like Dataiku or dbt.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working in a media company, specifically within advertising sales.

Salary range: $110,000 - $135,000
