Analytics EngineerThe roleWe're looking for an Analytics Engineer who is equally comfortable building the pipes and building the reports. You'll sit at the center of our data - modeling it, moving it, and turning it into the dashboards our teams use every day. If you love writing sharp SQL, shaping clean data models, and shipping Power BI reporting that people actually trust, you'll fit right in.
This is a genuinely blended role: roughly half your time is spent building and maintaining the data foundation, and half is spent delivering the analytics and reporting on top of it. You'll work closely with our operations, sales, and finance teams to understand what they need and give them answers they can act on.
What you'll do• Write, tune, and maintain performant SQL to transform raw data into clean, well-documented models teams can rely on.
• Design and build Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards - and keep them accurate, fast, and easy to use.
• Own data quality: validate sources, catch issues early, and build the checks that keep numbers trustworthy.
• Partner with operations, sales, and finance to translate business questions into data models and reporting.
• Build and maintain data integrations - pulling from source systems and automating the flows that feed reporting.
• Document your models, metrics, and definitions so the whole company shares a single source of truth.
What you bring (required)
• 3-5 years of experience in analytics engineering, BI development, data analysis, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL. You write clean, efficient queries and are comfortable with joins, window functions, and data modeling.
• Strong Power BI. You build data models, DAX measures, and polished, reliable dashboards - not just charts.
• A builder's mindset: you care about accuracy, documentation, and making data usable for non-technical teammates.
• Clear communication and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Bonus points (preferred)• Microsoft ecosystem. Experience working in a Microsoft-centered technology environment, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and the broader Microsoft data and application ecosystem.
• .NET applications. Familiarity with .NET applications and architectures, including the ability to understand how application data is structured, generated, and exposed for integrations and reporting.
• Azure integrations. Hands-on experience building integrations and automated data flows using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and APIs or webhooks.
• NoSQL data stores. Experience working with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL data stores, and modeling that data for analytics and reporting.
• Salesforce schema. A working understanding of the Salesforce data model - objects, relationships, and how to pull and model CRM data reliably.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), data warehousing concepts, and modern ELT tooling.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, travel, or another operations-heavy industry.
