Your future duties and responsibilities: Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain analytical data models aligned with business requirements.
* Transform, structure, and enrich raw data to create trusted, analysis-ready datasets.
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity through automated testing and validation processes.
* Develop and optimize ETL/ELT data transformation pipelines.
* Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data ingestion, storage, and accessibility.
* Work closely with analysts, business stakeholders, and leadership teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
* Deliver high-quality datasets for dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence platforms.
* Document data models, transformation logic, business rules, and key performance metrics.
* Contribute to data governance initiatives and the evolution of analytical standards and best practices.
* Optimize query performance and transformation processes within modern data warehouse environments.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to development practices, automation, and data delivery processes.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * 5 years experience related to the position
* Bachelore28099s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Proven experience working with large-scale data transformation and data management initiatives.
* Ability to work in a bilingual environment (English and French)*.
* Advanced proficiency in SQL.
* Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python or R.
* Experience using modern data transformation tools such as dbt.
* Knowledge of modern cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift.
* Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
* Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling.
* Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
* Experience working in cloud environments.
* Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
* Experience building enterprise-scale metrics and analytical models.
* Experience working in Agile environments.
* Familiarity with DataOps and Analytics Engineering best practices.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
