About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an
Analytics Consultant to support
Deposit Products functions within the
Consumer Banking & Lending organization. Our Analytics team provides strategic analysis, management reporting and tactical data support for the Deposits business. In this role, you will deliver analytical insights and support for various deposit products and programs which will require data mining, developing reports, performing in-depth analysis and designing and running data processes.
In this role, you will:- Collaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups
- Develop customized reports and ad-hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to product management team
- Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
- Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to deliver insights and analytical solutions
- Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and other strategic goals
- Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
Required Qualifications:- 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing complex data analysis, research, and trend identification to develop actionable recommendations, support strategic initiatives, and drive data driven decision making
- Experience performing complex data analysis, research, and trend identification to develop actionable recommendations and support strategic initiatives that improve business performance, operational efficiency, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of data governance, risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a regulated financial services environment
- Proven ability to collaborate across business and technology teams within a matrixed environment to deliver strategic initiatives and business objectives
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Experience within the financial services industry, including knowledge of deposit products, customer behavior, account level economics, or related banking business segments
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate business performance, identify key drivers of results, and assess opportunities to improve revenue, expense management, and return on investment
- Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and Tableau (or similar business intelligence tools), including experience querying large data sets and developing dashboards, visualizations, reports, and analytical solutions
Job Expectations: - Ability to travel up to 5%
- Adhere to standards outlined with written policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations

Pay Range:Minnesota - Minneapolis: $77,000-$133,000 annually
North Carolina - Charlotte: $77,000-$121,000 annually
- Actual salary is determined by location, experience and qualifications of the job
- May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards
- This range may not be applicable to other locations

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.$68,000.00 - $114,000.00
