Analytics and Reporting Manager

Purpose/ Summary:

Hyundai Motor Group North American Quality Center (NAQC) is currently looking for an Analytics & Reporting Manager, at our Irvine, CA facility who will:

Manage the Data Analytics and Reporting team to deliver accurate and actionable quality reporting that empowers informed decision making. Identify quality issues and manage the quality action process. Collaborate with cross functional and global teams to monitor quality issues, analyze external quality indicators and customer data, and escalate new quality cases.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities:

Analytics & Reporting Delivery:
  • Translate complex quality metrics into actionable insights using statistical analysis, trend analysis, root cause analysis, and data visualization techniques
  • Build and maintain comprehensive, automated reports that serve the diverse reporting needs of quality stakeholders across the organization
  • Monitor syndicated quality studies (J.D. Power, Consumer Reports) and develop action plans for Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia brands
  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions


Quality Issue Management & Process Improvement:
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize quality initiatives within the North American quality action process
  • Manage the working list of prioritized quality issues across North America; escalate new quality cases and collaborate with global teams to monitor and resolve them
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements to optimize outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration through regular meetings with internal teams and affiliates to align quality priorities and drive continuous improvement


Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and manage the Analytics and Reporting team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive exceptional performance and achieve organizational goals and KPIs
  • Manage budget, resource allocation, and forecasting activities
  • Foster a learning culture that encourages team members to develop analytical expertise and problem-solving capabilities

Basic Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data-driven charts)
  • Strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams (creation of executive reports and presentations, cross-team collaboration, and virtual meetings)
