Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries, including technology, media & telecommunications, consumer & retail, financials & insurance, energy, oil & gas, power, utilities & renewables, industrials, aerospace & defense, healthcare and real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure.
The Insurance Analyst will be a critical member of PJT's Insurance platform with direct involvement in both deal execution and business development. The team is stable, tight-knit, collaborative and is seeking to add to its talent pool to respond to a sustained increase in deal activity. Insurance Analysts should expect to work on lean deal teams executing complex and intellectually satisfying projects for blue-chip clients.
We are seeking qualified candidates who possess knowledge and interest in Insurance Advisory. Analysts would be responsible for the following:
- Financial analysis and modeling
- Drafting of client presentations
- Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use
- Conducting financial and other business-related research
- Coordinating complex and time-sensitive processes
- Active involvement in client facing situations
- Assistance in the execution of transactions
- Participation in talent development efforts, including recruiting
QualificationsPJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in an Insurance group at a bulge bracket or boutique advisory firm or in other relevant field
- Analytical and detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Robust organizational and time management skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure

Expected annualized base salary of $120,000 to $150,000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate's relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners' compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners' compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
