EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, public health, health services research, science communication, health design, healthcare engineering, health administration, business, public policy, or a related field, required
- Master's degree in health sciences or a related field, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in a strategy, operations, research, or project management role within a complex healthcare, academic, or research environment.
- Experience in science communication, knowledge translation, and research dissemination is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting strategic planning, operational initiatives, and/or senior leadership functions is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated organizational and project coordination skills, including the ability to track deliverables, monitor progress, and support the execution of strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and adapt effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex scientific, operational, financial, and research information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communications for diverse internal and external interest holders.
- Experience preparing high-quality briefing materials, presentations, and reports for executive and/or Board-level audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from environmental scans, policy reviews, and operational analyses to generate insights, identify gaps, and support evidence-informed recommendations that strengthen research operations and governance.
- Experience using data and performance metrics to support planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement is an asset.
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning, with the ability to ask insightful questions, acquire new knowledge, and apply evidence to inform analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Visio. Experience developing executive-quality presentations, dashboards, reports, and other decision-support materials is considered an asset.
- Good work and attendance record required.
