Job Description:

The Analyst - Quality role is responsible for supporting and maintaining our Quality Management System through a variety of quality functions, including internal audit, customer inspections, preparing data packages and maintaining document records.

Duties and Responsibilities .
  • Review and archive conformance and qualification paperwork to ensure compliance to required testing
  • Prepare data packages per customer and government requirements
  • Coordinate customer source inspections
  • Administrate and perform internal audits
  • Support and maintain AS9100 compliant QMS through continual improvement and participation in third party audits
  • Maintain customer drawings, engineering drawings, external specifications
  • Read and understand industry specifications and technical drawings
  • Regularly interact with engineering groups, manufacturing, supply chain, sales
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and work relationships within the department, the group, the Corporation and the community; and maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quality analyst/technician/specialist or equivalent (electronics industry preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with electronics manufacturing, materials, and processing
  • Proficiency in computer usage and Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific drawings
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals of all levels


Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree or formal training
  • Experience using an ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Axapta preferred
  • Experience with MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-750, AS9100
