Role Overview
  • Research and analyze prospect information using MSK systems and external sources, including financial capacity, professional and personal background, philanthropic interests, social networks, and reputational considerations
  • Provide clear, strategic recommendations on prospect assignment, engagement pathways, and solicitation strategies to advance prospects through the fundraising cycle
  • Partner closely with gift officers and Development colleagues in portfolio optimization, prospect strategy discussions, and implementation of recommended approaches
  • Prepare high-quality written communications that translate complex research into accessible, actionable insights for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
  • Maintain accurate prospect development documentation within the CRM system and collaborate with operations teams on data integrity and information management
  • Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes and enhance team-wide effectiveness
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive donor and prospect information


Key Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of experience in prospect development, fundraising, or a related analytical role
  • Strong research and analytical abilities with skill in synthesizing information from multiple sources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience turning complex details into clear, strategic recommendations
  • Experience assessing information to make strategic recommendations in a professional setting
  • Background in major gift fundraising, healthcare philanthropy, or nonprofit operations is a plus

Additional Information
