The Role:
Are you looking for an outstanding opportunity for education and exposure to Prime Brokerage, hedge fund client support, stock loan, and custody services? In this role, you will own aspects of trade flow support, client asset movements, and reporting! You will work alongside Prime Services account managers, Institutional Trading, and Sales in the support of the client base. Additionally, we maintain professional working relationships with various business organizations within Fidelity and are exposed to risk and technology projects/reviews. While working in a custody environment, you will develop an understanding of trading/reporting systems, regulatory requirements, risk awareness, compliance rules, internal and external institutional entities, and financial markets.
  • Ownership of day-to-day support for prime brokerage relationship management team, resolving all client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Becoming a specialist of processing and review of daily security and cash movements, corporate actions, stock certificate/ deposits, and restricted stock cleanup.
  • Providing assistance in the development of new procedures, products, and technologies sought at improving service to clients. Involvement in the testing and implementation of such products.
  • Responsible for daily portfolio accounting data to ensure accurate client reporting
  • Working with client implementation team to onboard new business to Fidelity Prime Services
  • Oversight of asset servicing transactions
  • Responsible for daily delegation of tasks
  • Providing assistance in the review of management daily supervision


The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree, plus 1-2 years of brokerage or portfolio accounting experience.
  • FINRA Brokerage licenses 7, 63 required
  • Brokerage industry experience, preferably in trading or middle/back-office operations
  • Solid understanding of domestic and international equity, fixed income, and derivative products
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, brokerage accounting, securities settlement, and custody preferred
  • Self-motivated and can operate as part of a team
  • Excellent digital literacy and are Microsoft Office proficient with excel macro aptitude a plus.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to process work accurately with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and the aptitude to multi-task with many different systems
  • Strong leadership skills


The Team:

The Prime Services Middle Office team handles all aspects of support for Fidelity's hedge fund investment manager client base. This includes trade processing, client service, and exception management.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000-115,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
