Full Job Description
Role Summary: The Analyst joins VanEck's Multi-Asset Solutions Group in an operational support capacity. The primary function of this role is implementation and operational support: model dissemination, trade verification, cash management, and fund and model maintenance. Client-facing production, research support, and other team responsibilities follow from that foundation. As the Analyst builds proficiency, the role expands to include broader research contributions, with direct exposure to portfolio managers and senior analysts.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to producing accurate, polished work product consistently. This role is based in the New York office and requires in-person attendance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following, other duties may be assigned as needed:
  • Implementation and operational support, including model dissemination, trade verification, cash management, and various other fund and model maintenance efforts.
  • Prepare and edit client-facing presentations, memos, and other publications with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts across the investment team to support ongoing research.
  • Summarize research findings clearly in written reports and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
  • Assist with investment research projects, including analysis of performance, returns, and asset allocation.
  • Track market and economic developments and help assess their relevance to multi-asset strategies.

Education and Experience:

  • Working ability with Excel is required; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial data platforms is a plus.
  • CFA candidacy or interest in pursuing the CFA designation viewed favorably.

Compensation

If this position will be performed in whole or in part in New York City, the base salary range is $75,000 - $90,000. Individual salaries may vary based on different factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this position.
