BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Business Systems Analyst supports OEM business operations through data management, EDI, reporting, ERP administration, and data governance. This role partners with business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and operational efficiency while supporting customer onboarding, business applications, and continuous process improvement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Actively participate in the Business Systems Super Users Group to support cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Analyze business and user needs, document requirements and design functional specifications for systems and reports
- Develop or assist in the development of work plans, schedules, and project task lists
- Manage EDI operations, including customer onboarding, trading partner setup, document mapping, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Build and maintain refreshable database queries and portals to provide timely and accurate business information
- Manage ERP role and user access, ensuring appropriate permissions and system security
- Develop and implement data quality metrics and measurement tools to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate regularly with business users to ensure system functionality aligns with operational needs
- Provide Help Desk support for assigned applications, including ticket management and issue resolution
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new business processes
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
- Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: - A bachelor's degree in business/computer science/mathematics or equivalent related experience required.
- Minimum of three years related business experience required.
- Proficient in database management principles and practices.
- Experience with BI reporting tools Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Optimized techniques in SQL Studio and experience in Stored Procedures.
- Able to work both independently and under moderate supervision.
- Will identify and work through issues while implementing solutions.
- Ability to work closely with many business functions across the organization.

Compensation starting at $67,600 - $106,260 annually depending on candidate location and experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
