Summary:

The Analyst II, Technical Business Solutions delivers moderately complex technical product work by translating business needs, customer requirements, and technical constraints into clear requirements, priorities, and delivery plans. Coordinates with product, engineering, architecture, and partner teams to align on requirements, dependencies, and release needs for assigned solutions. Analyzes product, process, and system information to evaluate solution options, identify impacts, and recommend practical approaches within defined objectives and guardrails. Contributes to reliable product delivery by refining requirements, documenting decisions, and improving analysis practices that reduce rework and strengthen execution.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes business needs, user requirements, process flows, and technical constraints to define clear and actionable technical product requirements.


  • Coordinates with product, engineering, architecture, and other partner teams to align on scope, dependencies, solution considerations, and delivery approach.


  • Delivers assigned technical product activities within defined priorities by organizing work, documenting decisions, and maintaining visibility into open items and risks.


  • Evaluates solution options by assessing system capabilities, cross-functional impacts, feasibility considerations, and delivery trade-offs.


  • Contributes to backlog, release, and prioritization discussions by translating requirements, defects, and enhancement requests into structured product inputs.


  • Documents requirements, workflows, acceptance criteria, and related product artifacts to improve delivery clarity and implementation consistency.


  • Improves requirement methods, templates, and analysis practices to reduce rework and increase delivery reliability across the team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.


  • 2+ years of experience in technical business analysis, technical product management, solution design, or a related field required.


  • Demonstrates solid proficiency in a primary technical area (business requirements analysis) and working knowledge of at least one adjacent area (e.g., agile methodologies, system architecture basics).


  • Experience contributing impact across a single project collaborating with multiple teams or multiple projects across multiple teams.


  • Ability to work well both independently as well as within a team oriented environment


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
