Job DescriptionWhat will you do?- Provide support for the syndication of lead left Leveraged Loan and High Yield debt transactions to institutional investors (CLOs, mutual funds, hedge funds, pensions, etc)
- Prepare detailed pitch, marketing, and offering materials inclusive of financial analysis, market and sector trends, trading comparables, and syndication considerations
- Assist in preparation of non-deal roadshow schedules, presentations, and investor targeting materials
- Liaise with the RBC sales and trading desk throughout the syndication process on live deals
- Responsible for maintaining the order book on live transactions inclusive of new money raises (LBO, M&A, dividend recaps) and refinancings / repricings
- Partner with colleagues in investment banking coverage / product groups to refine the solutions considered and presented to clients
- Work with internal constituents, lawyers, and representatives from other investment banks in the context of deal execution
- Provide senior originators comprehensive analysis on clients, industry trends and market events
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities and RBC as a whole
- Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis
- Other such duties, responsibilities and authority as may be reasonably required
What do you need to succeed?Must-have- BA or equivalent (concentration in Finance or Accounting is a plus)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong interest in capital markets and leveraged finance
- Understanding of capital markets, credit analysis, finance, and accounting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work on a lean deal team in a very fast-paced environment
- Strong desire to learn and succeed

The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000 - $135,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
