Full Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE :

The Financial Analyst role will support the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Reporting and Analytics team by delivering recurring financial reporting, analytical insights, and support materials that help drive strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for transforming data into meaningful analysis, identifying key trends and performance drivers, and extracting insights. In addition, the analyst will play a critical role in advancing FP&A capabilities through data visualization, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping improve efficiency, scalability, and the speed of decision-making. The position will also provide analytical support for forecasting, and long-range planning.

The base salary range for this role is $81,000 - $121,800. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
• Prepare and deliver recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting that provides clear visibility into business performance. Analyze financial results, identify key trends and performance drivers, investigate variances, and develop insights and recommendations that support management decision-making
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualizations that transform complex data into actionable insights. Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, data quality, scalability, and the speed of decision-making across FP&A.
• Provide analytical support for forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes. Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, model scenarios, quantify risks and opportunities, and support strategic planning initiatives through data-driven analysis.
• Lead monthly analysis on store contribution that provides insight on performance and identifies actionable opportunities for leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED :
• Bachelor's degree required with demonstrated superior college performance (preferably in an analytical field).
• Minimum 3 years post college experience (within a retail company or within a financial analysis and planning group)
• Strong analytical ability - must be able to synthesize data, be able to error check and reconcile own work and be able to design analysis to answer specific questions
• A detail-oriented approach - must pay close attention to the details and have the drive to get things right
• Strong technical skills including advanced Excel and modeling, a proven ability to learn financial systems / applications (i.e., PowerBi, MicroStrategy, Hyperion, Peoplesoft Financial Systems, Flash Sales), and proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Forward-thinking, resourceful and problem-solving mindset, drawn to building off ambiguity with a willingness to take on challenges in an environment with consistently changing priorities.
• Strong personal and professional character and integrity - must be trustworthy with confidential information.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA :

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
