Job Description

This team plays a critical role in Tiffany's supply chain, strategically assessing business requirements by conducting timely and effective analysis of demand forecasts versus the stone supply while highlighting data and insight to the internal Laurelton network as well as the polished procurement teams. This is achieved through rigorous analysis and interpretation using JDE, Business Objects, DAS, APS and Power BI reporting and off-system/manual sources. Analytical research includes communication/collaboration with various departments such as Inventory Planning, Product Development, Finance, Diamond Acquisition, Laurelton, Gemstone Acquisition, Stone Operations, Sourcing and JDIW as required. The Analyst will support and assist the team by gathering, analyzing and reporting diamond and gemstone supply related information, employing diverse analytical techniques and software tools, including advanced MS Excel and Power BI. Responsibilities will encompass routine and ad hoc tasks, involving the aggregation and interpretation of supply chain data to generate actionable analysis and reporting.

Key Accountabilities

Reporting and Analysis
  • Gathers monthly cycle data and creates required reports for further analysis and assessment.
  • Identifies and assesses supply and capacity constraints, collaborating with Manager to create action plans.
  • Identifies anomalies and outliers in source data, makes recommendations and implements improvement to processes and procedures.
  • Converts various data inputs into clear and concise summaries (numerical and graphical/visual) to produce actionable information and insights for the team.
  • Updates standard daily/weekly/monthly report schedules utilizing systems such as JDE, Business Objects, DAS to provide a current view into the pipeline.
  • Quantifies stone shortages, communicates constraints and priorities to the respective cross functional teams.
  • Maintains the new product manual forecasts (off system demand), ensures accuracy and upload of data through partnership other teams.
  • Responsible for monthly 3rd party stone procurement orders and off cycle reviews.
  • Identifies and communicates monthly grading priorities to the grading labs based on data reviews and business product knowledge.

Supply Chain Planning
  • Translate finished goods demands into required polished production/procurement and forecast supply based on current pipeline information.
  • Maintains a view into our diamond melee, gemstone, and pearl pipelines to understand possible constraints or issues to meet demand.
  • Identify and understand changes in demand and forecast potential impacts to inventory using scenario analysis.
  • Manages supply expectations and shares insights through routine month cycle reporting.
  • Support inventory forecasting and planning based on insights on future demand (both systematic and manual) as well as incoming supply.

Project Management
  • Monitors and participates in Product Development discussions to capture demand manually.
  • Quantifies new launches, including development requirement and builds into forecasts.
  • Monitors the MS Teams channels for all related PD groups and updates files with availability and timeline details.
  • Assesses ability to support stone requirements from loose inventory. Provide recommendations for substitutions and procurement.
  • Responds to stone requests from the Watch Company, TSC, High Jewelry, Custom, JDIW and other teams.

Diamond Planning Team Support
  • Provides coverage and additional representation for the team during absences or when external department support is required.
  • Possesses the capability and knowledge to represent the team in meetings and presentations when needed.

Safety
  • Complies with security and safety operating procedures. Reports security related and safety observations and incidents to supervisor.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, business analytics, or related analytical role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable reports and dashboards
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of JDE, Business Objectives, Direct Access, Power BI

The hiring range for this position ranges from $77,010 - $85,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
