Description

Analyst, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

A Brief Overview

The Data Analyst is the operational engine of the Analytics & Business Intelligence function - the individual contributor who owns the day-to-day analytics work that keeps Holy Name Physician Partners' 374-provider network running with clear, timely, accurate decision support.

This role reports to the Manager, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence. It is a heads-down analytical role - recurring reports, dashboard maintenance, provider productivity tracking, wRVU reconciliation, pro forma support, and ad-hoc analysis. The Analyst is the person who does the work that makes the Manager's strategic output possible.

The role is deliberately structured to absorb the recurring manual work that would otherwise pull the Manager away from higher-order strategic analysis. If you like clean data, well-built dashboards, and the satisfaction of running a repeatable analytical operation, this is the seat.

What you will do
  • Recurring Reporting & Dashboards:
    • Own the monthly and quarterly recurring reporting cadence - practice-level P&Ls, service-line performance dashboards, provider productivity reports, wRVU tracking, revenue trend analyses.
    • Maintain executive dashboards and KPI scorecards; ensure timely, accurate delivery.
    • Automate recurring deliverables where possible to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround.
    • Publish reports on the agreed cadence - no missed deadlines, no last-minute scramble.
  • Provider Productivity & wRVU Analytics:
    • Own monthly wRVU reconciliation across employed and affiliated providers.
    • Produce provider productivity reports by practice, sub-specialty, and TIN.
    • Support compensation reconciliation - reconcile provider pay against wRVU production and contract terms.
    • Flag anomalies, gaps, or variances that need Manager or Finance attention.
  • Pro Forma & Modeling Support:
    • Support the Manager on pro forma modeling for physician recruitment, new site expansion, service-line growth, and partnership economics.
    • Build scenario analyses and sensitivity models under Manager direction.
    • Populate and maintain the pro forma template library.
    • Contribute the data inputs (volume assumptions, payer mix, ramp curves) that pro formas depend on.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis & Decision Support:
    • Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from Finance, Operations, and service-line leadership under Manager triage.
    • Extract and analyze data from practice management systems, EMR, and financial systems.
    • Present findings in clear, executive-ready formats - tables, charts, visualizations.
  • Turn requests around on a timeline consistent with executive decision-making.
    • Data Integrity & Documentation:
    • Own the accuracy of wRVU, revenue, and productivity data feeding downstream analytics.
    • Maintain documentation on data sources, transformations, and analytical methodologies.
    • Reconcile data across source systems (practice management, EMR, billing, GL).
    • Escalate data-quality issues to the Manager with proposed fixes.
    • AI-Augmented Workflow & Continuous Improvement:
    • Leverage AI tools and automation to accelerate analytical output - data cleaning, report generation, exploratory analysis.
    • Identify manual processes that can be automated and propose improvements.
    • Build repeatable, self-service reporting where feasible so operational leaders can pull their own data.
    • Stay current on analytics tooling and bring new capabilities into the function.
