Job DescriptionAs an integral part of our team, the Investment Banking Analyst will support strategic advisory and capital markets transactions for Consumer & Retail clients. Responsibilities- Support M&A transactions, equity offerings, and debt financings for Consumer & Retail clients.
- Develop financial models and conduct analyses to support transaction execution.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
- Conduct research on industry trends and consumer behavior within the sector.
- Analyze financial statements and operating metrics to identify key insights.
- Participate in due diligence processes and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Monitor capital markets activity and emerging trends in consumer products and retail.
- Assist senior bankers in client relationship management and business development.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Qualifications- 0-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.
- Prior experience covering Consumer & Retail companies is highly preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of M&A transactions and capital markets processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong interest in the Consumer & Retail sector and its trends.
Salary: $100,000 -$125,000 + Discretionary Bonus
