Job Overview
This role supports the Field Performance & Analytics team by conducting data-driven business analyses that help drive performance management across T-Mobile's Micro & Fiber and Metro channels. The primary focus is data sourcing - extracting, querying, and organizing data from multiple systems, including SQL and enterprise reporting platforms, to build the reporting and analytical foundation the team relies on to get to solutions.
Day-to-day work starts with requirements gathering: understanding what the business needs, identifying the right data sources, and pulling and structuring that data accurately. From there, the analyst supports report creation, spend and performance analysis, and insights development that inform strategic decisions.
Leveraging AI tools and automation is an important part of how this team operates - candidates who are curious about applying AI to improve efficiency, accelerate data workflows, or enhance reporting quality will thrive here.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Extract and analyze data from SQL and enterprise reporting systems to support spend modeling, performance management, and procurement reporting
  • Conduct requirements gathering with leadership and business stakeholders to identify data needs and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Develop RFP, RFI, and RFQ documents; analyze vendor responses; and prepare data-driven materials to support supplier negotiations
  • Produce vendor and category benefits tracking and compliance reports in collaboration with finance and business partners
  • Create, maintain, and validate vendor/category spend baselines and total cost of ownership models; update spend data repositories as needed
  • Deliver actionable insights on vendor and category spend and identify cost savings opportunities in partnership with sourcing teams
  • Apply AI-assisted tools and automation to improve efficiency of analysis, reporting, and documentation workflows
  • Support other projects and duties as assigned by business management


Education and Work Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and complex analytical problem-solving
  • Business requirements analysis and requirements gathering
  • Data analysis and data visualization
  • SQL or equivalent database querying skills
  • Report creation and ability to present findings to leadership and stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management - ability to gather business requirements and communicate analytical outputs across teams

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial analysis/reporting within a sourcing, procurement, or corporate business environment
  • Experience supporting strategic sourcing activities including development of RFP, RFI, and RFQ documents and analysis of vendor responses
  • Experience building or maintaining spend baselines, vendor/category cost models, or total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with Workday Advanced Reporting or similar enterprise reporting environments
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, generative AI platforms) to support data analysis, report generation, or document drafting
  • Exposure to supplier performance tracking, vendor compliance reporting, or category management principles

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $66,440 - $119,900

National Base Pay Range: $60,400 - $109,000
