Job DescriptionAbout the Job:As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with certain period and quarterly accounting deliverables as well as financial reporting for the KFC Division. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including KFC International, Planning, and market accounting teams, to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial information. You will contribute to the preparation of key deliverables, support analysis, and help drive effective coordination across teams to meet reporting requirements.
You will be required to attend the Louisville KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).
Salary Range: $80,300 - $90,000 + bonus eligibility.

Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities: KFC Division Reporting- Consolidate and prepare KFC Division's quarterly balance sheet reporting
- Assist in the preparation of key quarterly deliverables included in the KFC Division and YUM Brand's CFO Close Decks
- Prepare, review and record consolidated journal entries for the KFC division, working with markets to record entries in subsequent quarters
- Ensure required period reporting deliverables are submitted by markets and compiled for control and planning teams
KFC Global Headquarters (HQ) G&A - Execute period close and reporting activities for KFC Global HQ including identifying and resolving issues identified during close processes
- Analyze and reconcile multiple Balance Sheet Accounts
- Analyze and monitor capital expenditure requests provided by KFC departments, including fixed and intangible assets to ensure proper reporting
- Ensure JD Edwards data is loaded accurately into HFM through validation and reconciliation of data
- Prepare and submit reporting schedules and roll forwards in HFM for KFC HQ
Other responsibilities - Accounting and reporting of Uber royalty payments including working with Uber and market contacts to facilitate the accounting process
- Partner with the KFC Finance Team for G&A analysis and financial reporting and collaborating on ad-hoc accounting requests
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:- Accounting degree
- 2+ years public or private industry accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven analytical and financial reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications: - CPA
- Experience with large, global companies.
- Experience in the QSR or retail environment.
- Understanding of intercompany accounting & foreign currency accounting
- Experience with JDE, HFM and Microsoft products
