Full Job Description
*This position is contingent upon contract award* SOSi is seeking an experienced Alternate Program Manager to help lead our Air Force Contract Augmentation (AFCAP) VI Program worldwide. AFCAP serves as a responsive, global force multiplier for commanders and Government agencies, supporting contingencies both within the contiguous United States and outside the contiguous United States. AFCAP delivers rapid solutions in design/construction, service contracts, and logistics/commodities. Working closely with the Program Manager, the Alternate Program Manager will play a key role in ensuring task orders are executed efficiently, contractual requirements are met, and customers receive high-quality mission support. **Essential Job Duties:** - Support the Program Manager in the planning, execution, and oversight of multiple government task orders. - Serve as a key management representative and assume program leadership responsibilities in the Program Manager's absence. - Coordinate task-order activities involving Engineering, Construction, Services, and/or Commodities. - Support the management of multiple task orders valued at more than $400K. - Apply knowledge of government appropriations, funding, and acquisition processes to support effective program execution. - Monitor program performance, schedules, staffing, deliverables, and customer requirements. - Assist with program financial tracking, resource planning, and performance reporting. - Identify program risks, issues, and potential schedule impacts and assist with developing mitigation strategies. - Coordinate with government customers, internal functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors. - Prepare program status reports, briefings, meeting materials, and customer deliverables. - Provide timely updates to the Program Manager regarding program performance, emerging issues, and operational requirements. - Assist with ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, security, quality, and operational requirements. - Support contract transitions, modifications, proposals, and other program activities as required. - Foster positive customer relationships and contribute to continuous improvement and mission success. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** - Active Secret Security Clearance. - Two (2) years of program management experience within the last seven (7) years. - Demonstrated expertise in: - Government appropriations. - Engineering, Construction, Services, and/or Commodities. - Government acquisitions. - Experience managing multiple task orders with a magnitude greater than $400K. - Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with customers, team members, and stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications:** - A bachlor's degree in a related field, or PMP certification is preferred. **Additional Information** **Work Environment** - Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties at various CONUS and OCONUS locations. - The position location will be either Reston, VA or Panama City, FL. - May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
