What you do:The AIM Compliance Advisor (Ethics & Compliance Advisor) reports to the AIM Chief Compliance Officer and supports senior team members in administering Allianz Investment Management's compliance and risk activities. This role requires working knowledge of investment adviser compliance and risk disciplines, spanning multiple programs. Key responsibilities include supporting core compliance functions such as code of ethics and portfolio compliance monitoring, performing control testing and monitoring under direct supervision, and assisting with compliance training and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of core compliance activities under the direction of senior team members (e.g., code of ethics administration; portfolio administration in Aladdin and Bloomberg; regulatory change log)
- Perform compliance testing and monitoring activities (e.g., electronic communications monitoring, testing support) under direct supervision
- Support various compliance program activities, projects, and documentation under direct supervision (e.g., policy administration; risk assessments; training)
- Handle various routine compliance matters, including preparing responses to Know Your Customer requests from asset managers and banking counterparties, performing annual access reviews, and Star Compliance testing
What you bring:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in investment management compliance required
- 4+ years of experience in compliance training, insurance or related
- Ability to communicate complex topics in a way that they can be understood by people with a wide variety of backgrounds, including non-technical backgrounds
- Broad and effective communication skills to work with executives, third-parties, managers and front-line employees through various verbal and written formats
- Familiarity with asset management portfolio administration and investment adviser compliance administration systems preferredWorking knowledge and experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas
Job posting range $69,000-103,500
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
