Program Overview

GDIT delivers critical all-source intelligence on foreign military and civilian cyber actors, their supporting infrastructure, and the broader ecosystems in which these capabilities operate. This intelligence directly supports foundational military intelligence (FMI) requirements for the joint force and ensures alignment with the mission portfolios.

On this program, GDIT provides a broad range of analytic and mission-enabling support to produce operationally relevant FMI and scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) for cyberspace operations. Our support is not limited to analysis; we engage across the entire intelligence cycle-planning, collection, processing, exploitation, production, and dissemination-while also executing integrated mission management functions.

All support is focused on enhancing the customers' ability to enable both defensive and offensive cyberspace operations.

Position Overview

Logistical transportation Analyst

The All-Source Infrastructure and Logistics Intelligence Analyst conducts comprehensive analysis of foreign logistics infrastructure, transportation networks, and resource systems to support the Infrastructures and Resources Analysis Program (IRAP).

This role produces all-source intelligence assessments on military and civilian infrastructures, supply chains, strategic mobility, sustainability, and related capabilities. The analyst evaluates foreign military logistics systems, identifies vulnerabilities in global transportation networks, and maintains specialized knowledge bases containing infrastructure-related intelligence.

Work includes researching multiple intelligence disciplines, validating data from government and commercial sources, and delivering detailed reports and network assessments that inform customers of foreign capabilities, resources, intentions, and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all-source analytic production on foreign logistics infrastructure facilities and networks associated with strategic mobility, sustainability, planning, and operations.
• Analyze transportation and logistics systems including roads, highways, railroads, bridges, inland waterways, ports, airfields, storage facilities, depots, and maintenance sites to determine physical characteristics, capacity, and vulnerabilities.
• Publish vulnerability assessments of global transportation and logistics control and automation systems.
• Evaluate foreign military logistics systems-conventional and nonconventional-including command structures, organizational relationships, storage facilities, and distribution networks.
• Provide all-source intelligence analysis and collection across multiple intelligence disciplines for IRAP, assembling relevant information, data, and knowledge.
• Conduct infrastructure and logistics assessments involving all-source research, knowledge-base development, analysis, and reporting on military and civilian infrastructures, supply chains, systems, and resources.
• Analyze energy infrastructures, systems, resources, facilities, networks, and equipment, including electric power, oil and gas production, transmission, distribution systems, and reserves.
• Assess industrial facilities, including production operations of significant foreign defense industries, both military and strategic.
• Review economic systems and resources of countries of interest as directed by the Government.
• Examine additional areas such as water resources, arms transfers, and military materiel identification.
• Research and integrate data from all sources to produce intelligence reports on foreign resources, capabilities, intentions, and networks.
• Organize and present analytical findings using charts, timelines, graphs, and other visual formats as appropriate.
• Obtain, verify, and quality-check data from government and commercial sources to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze functional and logical infrastructure networks to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, interdependencies, and resource allocations.
• Build network depictions and integrate data across infrastructure sectors to highlight system relationships.
• Identify key characteristics and capabilities related to military and civilian infrastructures and resources through research and analysis of all available information.
• Develop, update, and maintain specialized knowledge bases and databases covering infrastructure systems and resource characteristics.
• Create, review, and maintain records to ensure current database holdings related to military and civilian infrastructure and resources.

Education and Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years' experience.
