Full Job Description

Purpose of Job:

The All Battery Product Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for assigned All Battery product categories. They will take the lead in product strategy execution, provide technical support, and work with suppliers to develop new products to meet market needs.

Job Components:

  • Executeproduct line strategy to support the vision and strategy of the overall All Battery product category

  • Execute product development steps with suppliers, quality,purchasing,and category managerto meet the needs of new product projects

  • Support the business with technicalexpertise

  • Answer research requests (sales and store questions) in a complete andtimelymanner

  • Coordinate with quality toapproveand disqualifyproducts from multiple sources to helpeliminatesupply risksandmaintainquality

  • Own the line review process to manageproduct life cycles and support category strategy

  • Ensure product meets all applicable environmentalandlegalrequirements and thatrequired product certifications are obtained

  • Support and implement Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) initiatives, as assigned

  • SupportAll Battery RFQ with productexpertiseinputandawardrecommendations

  • Ensureproductcross references,SAPproduct data,product specsheetsand product portal aremaintainedwithaccurateinformation

  • Ensure accuracy of product information entered on new product PCN

  • Supports All Battey Marketing in the development of product catalogs

  • Utilize supplier relationships to understandproduct updates andnew technologies

  • Ensure products meet the requirements of our ISO 13485 Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Meet with suppliers in coordination with procurement as needed

Qualifications:

Scope Data:

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for assigned categories, supporting customers and sales teams with product information and technical expertise.

  • Executes on and helps shape All Battery product strategy through line reviews and collaboration with suppliers on new product technologies.

  • Work through product development process with both domestic and overseas suppliers to meet the needs of All Battery customers.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.

  • Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone.

  • Some travel may be needed.
