Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
KLA is seeking an experienced Algorithm Engineer to join the Algorithm Group within the Reticle Product Division. This role focuses on the design and development of advanced algorithms for KLA’s innovative inspection platforms, using expertise in image processing, computer vision, mathematics, and software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Algorithm Development
Design and implement advanced algorithms for image segmentation, classification, and defect detection tailored to inspection systems
Translate complex requirements into generalized mathematical models and develop customized algorithmic solutions
Innovation and Execution
Drive innovation by proposing novel approaches and delivering production-quality, maintainable code
Collaborate with field teams and customers to support algorithm deployments and ensure seamless integration of algorithmic solutions to inspection systems at customer sites, including occasional international travel
Software Engineering
Develop robust, scalable software using modern C++ and object-oriented programming principles
Contribute to long-term codebase health through thoughtful design, refactoring, and clear documentation
CUDA C++ and GPU-accelerated computing
Cross-functional Collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
Base Pay Range: $136,300.00 - $231,700.00 Annually
