Algorithm EngineerWe currently have openings for algorithm engineers to design, implement, and validate new algorithms across multiple domains including networking, distributed data fusion and resource management, distributed electronic warfare, and distributed Command and Control (C2). Understanding of probability and statistics is required, experience with control systems is desired. Demonstrated understanding of how to characterize the open-loop and close-loop stability of nonlinear systems via analysis, simulation, and experimentation is a strong plus.
Qualified candidates should have a mix of academic theory and real-world applications of relevant algorithms, combined with a track record of applying research techniques to real-world problems. This is not an entry level position and real-world experience is required. While this role is not primarily a software development role, some software development experience is strongly preferred.
The position is located in our Arlington, VA office (
full-time in person). Existing
DoD Top Secret clearance is extremely desirable, otherwise all candidates must be eligible to obtain one and therefore any applicant must be a
US citizen to be considered.
Pay Information:At Apogee Research we believe individuals should be compensated according to the value they bring to our organization and we want to ensure we evaluate candidates at their appropriate level. Apogee's levels and ranges are included below:
- Senior Position: $121,933 - $182,900
- Principal Position: $153,818 - $265,200
