Role OverviewWe are looking for an Airtable Developer and Project Operations Analyst with a strong database background and hands-on experience building and maintaining Airtable environments. The ideal candidate combines technical database proficiency with the ability to design operational workflows, build dashboards, and enable cross-functional teams. Experience with Jira or similar project tracking tools is a plus.
Key Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and maintain Airtable bases, views, automations, and relational structures to support internal project and operational workflows
- Develop and maintain APIs connecting Airtable to external systems and third-party tools
- Manage and maintain structured data within Airtable bases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and appropriate access controls across project and operational datasets
- Build dashboards and reporting views for project status, resource tracking, and leadership visibility
- Gather requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into structured Airtable configurations
- Train and support team members on Airtable usage to drive adoption and self-sufficiency
- Collaborate with project managers and operations leads to continuously improve workflows
- Support Jira board management and project tracking as a secondary responsibility
What Success Looks LikeWithin the first 90 days, the individual has assessed current Airtable configurations, consolidated fragmented workflows, established data governance standards, and delivered at least one dashboard used actively by the team.
Required Qualifications5-8 years experience with 2+ years of hands-on Airtable development experience including bases, automations, and API integrations
Strong database background - SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or equivalent
Experience building dashboards and reports for operational or leadership audiences
Ability to gather requirements and deliver structured solutions independently
Experience conducting end-user training and driving tool adoption
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Jira for project tracking and board management
Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies
Experience with integration tools such as Zapier, Make, or REST APIs
Background in system analysis or SDLC-based project delivery
