Responsibilities

  • Produce layouts and studies for structure and mechanical system installations
  • Design system installation brackets for various systems including hydraulics and fuel
  • Complete design studies to evaluate the best solutions for potential modifications
  • Conduct DMU reviews to communicate modifications in an Integrated Product Development Team environment
  • Review modification packages to ensure high design quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Review and approve vendor data and change requests for installation design activities
  • Translate design requirements into comprehensive design packages meeting regulatory standards

Aircraft Structure Integration Engineer (M/F/D)Montréal | Permanent Contract | Full-Time

What will your rolebe?
In this project, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Produce layouts, studies for installation of structures & mechanical systems;
  • Work in a Design team designing System Installation Brackets for various systems (Hydraulics, Fuel etc.);
  • Complete design studies to evaluate the best possible solution for a potential MOD;
  • Hold DMU Reviews to communicate your MODs within an IPDT environment;
  • Review Mod Packages to ensure high quality of design;
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues;
  • Review and approve vendor data and change request pertaining to installation design activities;
  • Translate and apply design requirements into comprehensive design packages that meet design practices and airworthiness regulatory requirements;
  • Provide estimates and statements of work for design related activities;
  • Support suppliers, production and final line installations.

What qualifications are we looking for?
You have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering;
  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience;
  • A strong knowledge of CATIA V5.


Assets:
  • Bilingual in English and French;
  • A Fibersim knowledge;
  • Good integration skills when dealing with multi-discipline engineering groups and partners.
