The AIoT Sales Director will be working to lead B2B / Enterprise sales processes in order to generate business opportunities around SaaS, AI and IoT focused solutions with US Enterprises, Critical Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Public Safety, and City / Municipalities.
Responsibilities & Tasks- Identify and engage key partners, including Technology Platforms and Security Providers, in order to execute strategic relationships according to the company's business objectives.
- Identify and gain access to decision makers and cultivate relationships in order to successfully position AI, IOT, and Connectivity solutions.
- Lead discussions with partners about strategic business objectives, develop and implement a business plan to align their needs with EPIC iO products/services.
- Perform short-term and long-range planning to increase product placement, customer satisfaction, and sales growth for long term result - achievement to create and sell profitable businesses to exceed gross profit targets.
- Manage complex technology deals with typical sales of 3 months to a year.
- Leverage CRM, Salesforce, and Hubspot for operational and business efficiency.
- Leverage and partner with all resources across EPIC iO as One Team for success - inside sales, business development, customer success, product, marketing, finance, delivery teams, and the executive team.
- Travel to existing and prospective customers with the purpose of sustaining and growing the company's solutions.
- Ability to utilize computer and phone technology for multiple hours at a time.
Required Qualifications- Describe the specific responsibilities and job functions of the role.
- Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent sales experience.
- 7+ years in a regional or vertical sales role with demonstrated quota attainment successes.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and negotiating skills are a must, with enterprise-level customers and partners.
- Experience in selling SaaS, AI, and IoT based models.
- Technical knowledge and ability to communicate across business departments (engineering, procurement, upper management) to negotiate large multi-million dollar deals.
- Demonstrated ability to execute regional sales plans geared towards end-user business development, sales execution within a complex sales cycle .
- Capability to work with, plan with, and sell with technology and channel partners.
Desired Qualifications- Entrepreneurial experience a plus.
- Experience utilizing Salesforce CRM.
- Company experience in a high-tech, security-based AI and IoT via an *aaS model for small to medium-sized business.
- Background in selling products and services in the Critical Infrastructure &/or Oil & Gas market.
Physical Requirements- Ability to work in an office environment for 8 hours.
