Full Job Description
Manage Aimbridge accounts receivable, corporate accounting, financial statement preparation and management. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience is required.
  • Hospitality and/or Real Estate accounting experience is preferred.
  • Public accounting experience is preferred.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Proficient with general ledger systems, MS Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Highly motivated individual that works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong managerial and organizational skills.
  • Strong critical thinking/analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical accounting issues with senior executives and/or external auditors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the consolidated month-end close process, which includes consolidation of foreign operations, preparation of consolidated financial statements and select balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure Company financial records are maintained in compliance with Company policies and US GAAP.
  • Review monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis of actual vs budget/forecast/prior year/prior month.
  • Produce monthly consolidated GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Assist Finance team with financial statements and support to comply with quarterly lender reporting requirements.
  • Monitor to ensure that internal controls, policies and procedures are followed.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Aimbridge external auditors on the annual audit of the books and records of the company. Respond to Auditor inquiries completely, accurately and timely.
